Parents of Kindergarten children can choose a full day option for their children on any of the days that the child is enrolled in the morning program. The program is a play-based approach that follows the rhythm and feel of their morning. A typical day would unfold as follows:
- 12:15 - 1:00 - Eat in the Kindergarten
- 1:00 - 2:00 - Rest time or quiet play typically in Kindergarten
- 2:00 - 2:30 - Artistic activity or outdoor play
- 2:30 - 3:00 - Outdoor play
Children are to bring their own nutritious lunch. Families typically enroll in the full day option for the year; drop-in spaces may be available depending upon enrollment.
The additional fee for full day Kindergarten children is approximately $15 per day (beyond tuition costs). Families enrolled in this program are eligible for the BC Childcare Subsidy, which can cover a significant portion of the fees.
