Sun Haven Waldorf School is excited to announce the creation of the Sun Haven Annual Fund. The Sun Haven Annual Fund is a direct appeal to parents, grandparents, alumni parents, faculty, staff and friends for financial contributions in support of our school’s operating budget. Virtually all Waldorf Schools in North America have a similar fundraising campaign.
Sun Haven Annual Fund contributions are essential to the day-to-day operations of the school, and are tax-deductible for the donor. These funds help will also help to fill the gap in the operating budget to provide the funds we need to further grow our school. Some examples of how your contributions may be used include:
- providing funds to send teachers to required summer training
- paying down the school’s operating line of credit
- paying down the mortgage on our Grade Two-Three classroom
- upgrading and expanding our Pre-Kindergarten facilities
- purchasing equipment to support the launch of our extended day programs for September, including full day Pre-Kindergarten, full day Kindergarten and Grades aftercare
